Nikiforovich Mazanov

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

(1902, Rostov-na-Donu – 1982, Moscow). He graduated from the vkhutein in 1927 Tested the effects of K. S. Petrov-Vodkin, I. I. Brodsky. In 1919 he graduated from the Rostov art College. In 1920 participated in the "First Soviet art exhibition, Rostov-on-don" in Moscow. He moved to Moscow. Worked in the VTU of the red army. One of the first to come in the founded in 1932, the Moscow Union of Artists. Permanent participant of group exhibitions in the Central exhibition hall "Manezh" at the Kuznetsk bridge. Solo exhibitions Mazanova was held in Moscow workers ' club "Clubcar" (1935) and in the Exhibition hall of the Union of Artists on Kuznetsky most (1979). Under the influence of A. A. Plastov in the works Mazanova 1940s appeared impressionistic traits.
