Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
He graduated from the Moscow Artists' and Higher School of Arts (formerly Stroganovskoye), the department of monumental and decorative painting (workshop of B.V. Iordansky) in 1973. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (MA) since 1983, Laureate of the Moscow Prize (1996), was awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts (2003), was nominated for State Prize (2002). A regular participant in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The author of works of monumental and decorative art (painting, mosaics, stained glass) for public and private buildings in Moscow and other cities of Russia. Engaged in easel painting. The works are in the funds of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, in the State Museums of Arkhangelsk, Ivanov, Pereslavl Zalessky and Yaroslavl.
