Born in 1933 in Leningrad. People's artist of Russia since 2007, In 1959 graduated from the Leningrad art College. Since 1959 he studied at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin at the faculty: Professor, academician B. S. Ugarov, Professor V. I. reihet, in 1965 he graduated with a degree in the Studio of Professor, academician V. M. Oreshnikov. From 1967 to 1971 he was an Intern in the creative workshop under the guidance of V. M. Oreshnikov. A member of the artists Union since 1967 participated in more than 400 exhibitions in the USSR, Russia and abroad, including 19 solo. Work are in 50 museums of Russia and CIS countries including: Russian Museum, Orel art gallery, museums of Tambov, Krasnoyarsk, Murmansk and others, as well as in private collections in Russia, France, Sweden and other countries.
