He studied in St. Petersburg in the Studio of J. F. Tsionglinskogo and the Academy of fine arts D. N. Kardovsky. Genre painter, portraitist, landscape painter. In 1918-1923, with her husband, artist S. M. Karpov, lived and worked in Orenburg, participated in the organization of the first unions of the Orenburg artists. Actively contributed to the opening of the regional Museum of fine arts, gave him a number of works by Karpov. Works Ranginui: "In the artist's Studio" (1927), "Girlfriends" (1945), "Conversation" (1947) – the State Tretyakov gallery, "Past" (1926), "Wife" (1929), "In the sculptor's Studio" (1947) – in the Russian Museum. Some works of Ranginui (of genre, portraits, landscapes, still lifes) is stored in the Orenburg Museum of fine arts.

Tsionglinskogo (1910-12) and the Academy of arts (1912-18 and 1921-1923) D. N. Kardovsky. Lived in Moscow (1923). A member of AHRR (1924). Paintings R., largely associated with the traditions of Russian genre painting, dedicated to the work and life of ordinary Soviet people, is marked by the liveliness of the characters, the ability to unassuming form to reproduce typical features of the new. Also wrote portraits, landscapes, still lifes. Works: "the artist," "Lunch work" (both — 1927), "the working inventor" (1929), "Girlfriends" (1945), all in Tretyakov gallery; "still higher!" (1934, Kiev Museum of Russian art).
