Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
(1913, Pskov – 1991, Kiev)
Honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1931-1934 he studied at the Odessa art Institute.
In 1940 he graduated from Kyiv art Institute (lecturer of O. Shovkunenko).
The author of lyrical poems on the theme of Soviet life. Among the landmark works of the artist include: "the Concert in the hospital" (1945), "Alenka" (1950), "With the song" (1969), "Bread" (1978).
Solo exhibitions were held in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov.
Works are kept in art museums of Ukraine and former USSR.
