People's artist of Russia, corresponding member of the Academy of arts. He studied at the Moscow art Institute..In. Tomsk. By easel compositions, monumental works, portraits, reliefs (mainly bronze and forged copper). A number of his sculptural works installed in Orenburg: the monuments of L. N. Tolstoy, Yuri Gagarin, a plaque in memory of the Orenburg life of the first cosmonaut.

Corresponding member Q. AH the USSR (1979), Nar. hood. Of the RSFSR (1979). Graduated From Moscow. hood. in-t (1960). Lived and worked in Moscow. In 1977-87 sekr. of the Board of the USSR Union. Easel compositions ("column", 1966; "Time goes by", 1983), sculptural portraits ("worker", 1964; "Coach A. I. Chernyshov", 1964; "Actress Jean Bolotov", 1986), monuments (L. Krasin in Barrow, 1978; M. Keldysh, Moscow, 1981; Alexander Nevsky in Novgorod, 1985; L. Tolstoy in the Tula region, 1988), etc.
