(R. 21.05.1916, der. Tykhonivka schuchanskiy R-on Kurgan region), graphic artist, draughtsman, and etcher, member Led. Otech. war and the war with Japan. In Person. 1929. In 1936-38 he studied at the art Studio of the people under arms-tion N. A. Rusakov. In 1938-46, he served in the army. He was awarded the OSA. and medals. After returning to Person. in tech. Worked 25 years in Pers. the Department of fine arts. Fund of the RSFSR as a graphic designer. He attended art classes at V. N. Onlineway, collaborated with South Ural book publishing house. One of the first people artists began to work in etching technique. Participated in region, zones., resp. of arts. exhibitions. In 1991, an exhibition S. (etching) and P. Y. Fominykh (sculpture) in CHOKH. Among the works of S. particularly noteworthy are a series of “Historical-revolutionary places Chelyabinsk” (Fig. memorable places and portraits of the heroes of the revolution), published in gas. “Chelyabinsk worker”, and lyric. a series of “Poetic landscapes of the southern Urals” (the technique of etched bar), amounting to an album of 15 sheets, which captures the Urals. landscapes. OK. 30 graphic. of S. purchased of CACG, including the album of etchings “the native land” (poems of Yuri K. Sokolov).
