Biography and information

Born in the city of Krasnoyarsk. He studied in the Studio of A. F. Lytneva in Irkutsk, in the Studio of F. I. Rerberg and A. S. Golubkina in Moscow. From 1910 to 1913 headed the Irkutsk society of artists. From 1920 to 1926 he was the custodian of the funds of the Irkutsk regional art Museum. From 1926 to 1939 he lived and worked in the Mongolian people's Republic, led the Studio of fine art in Ulaanbaatar, among his students - Tsevegjav, Ultem, Gaoua. From 1940 to 1944 he was Director of the Museum of Palekh art.

Born in the city of Krasnoyarsk. In 1902 - 1907 he studied at the Irkutsk school of mines and at the same time I studied in the classes of drawing and painting A. F. Lytneva.

In 1908 - 1910 he continued his studies of painting in Moscow in the private art school of F. I. Rerberg, at the same time taking sculpture classes from a famous master A. S. Golubkina. Returning to Irkutsk, I became an assistant controller to Control the TRANS-Baikal railway.

Since 1909 he participated in all art exhibitions held in Irkutsk.

In 1914 - 1916 years was engaged in illustrating train "Satellites" and some Irkutsk magazines.

He was a founding member and Board member of the Irkutsk society of artists. In 1920 he performed duties of Chairman of the society.

In 1920 participated in deciding the fate of the art collection of the former city head V. P. Sukachev. The collection was nationalized and formed the basis of the generated picture gallery. He was removed from work on the railroad and was appointed curator of the collection.

In 1925 he designed the decoration of the Chinese style of the facade of the store trust "Chaeupravlenie" on the corner of K. Marksa str. and Uritskogo (at the end of the XX century shop "Toys").

In 1926 he was invited to Mongolia for the establishment in Ulaanbaatar monument of Sukhbaatar. In Mongolia he stayed until 1939

In 1940 and 1944 he lived in the village of Palekh, operating Director of the Palekh Museum. Died in Kursk.
