Born in the Internet. Graduated from Kyiv art Institute (1930, Studio of V. Tatlin and K. Alavi). Artistic Director of theatre and cinema. The most famous works in the theater: the Kyiv Ukrainian drama theatre named Ivan Franko — "Stolen happiness" by I. Franko (1939), "twelfth night" by Shakespeare (1948); Russian drama theatre named after L. Ukrainka "Stone master" L. Ukrainka (1946). Movie — 1932. Laureate of the State prize of the USSR (1948). Died in Kiev.
