Biography and information

Honored artist of the Russian Federation. Born in 1936 (37) year. In 1959 he graduated from art-graphic faculty of Moscow state pedagogical Institute in 1971 – post-graduate studies. The candidate of pedagogical Sciences since 1973, associate Professor since 1976. Professor, Department of fine arts of Smolensk state pedagogical Institute since 2001. Was head of the Department (1967 – 1990). Published 11 works, including the textbook "Pictorial perception", released in 1998 member of the artists Union of Russia since 1967. Y. I. the Transfiguration – the participant of many Russian and regional exhibitions. International: Poland – 1966, South Korea In 1991. Works by Y. Preobrazhensky stored in the Central Museum of Russian Army, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, the Smolensk Museum-reserve, in private collections in Russia, Israel, Egypt, South Korea.
