Born in Panfilovo village in Vladimir region. The participant of the great Patriotic war. Awarded the order of Patriotic war, medals "For courage", "For victory over Germany", "Veteran of labour", etc. Studied in UXY (1945-1946), entered on 2 year. He graduated from the sculpture Department of IR in Leningrad (1953), where he studied with V. V. Lishev, A. P. Timchenko, I. V. Krestovsky. Lived and worked in Chelyabinsk (с1955г.). Member of artists Union of USSR (since 1963). He was elected a member of the Board and Chairman of the sculpture section of COSH (1971-1986). Awarded diplomas of the artists ' Union of Russia and Chelyabinsk oblast. Participant of exhibitions (since 1955), including four solo exhibitions (1976, 1985-1987). He worked in easel and monumental sculpture, memorial sculpture. He painted a series of portraits of metallurgists and the street, the sculptures for the monument to scout N. I. Kuznetsov in Chelyabinsk, portraits of Russian writers N. A. Nekrasov and L. N. Tolstoy. The competition models Kasli casting (1959) received an award for table bust of p. P. Bazhov. In the sculpture of small forms performed five openwork reliefs on tales of P. P. Bazhov: the Stone flower, "About the Great Snake", "Ermakova swans", "Silver hoof", "Golden Hair" (1979), widely replicated in Kasli art casting.
