Honored worker of arts of Ukraine. Born in the city of Novocherkassk. In 1960 he graduated from the Crimean art College, in 1966 the Kharkov state art Institute. Member of the Union of artists of Ukraine (member of the Union of artists of the USSR). A. I. Sukhorukov reside in art museums of Sevastopol, Simferopol, Kiev region.
