Ivanovich Mamontov

Dmitry Mamonov graduated from the Higher artistic-industrial school named after Mukhina, faculty of decorative arts, in particular as a ceramic artist. Long worked as a muralist. He was the chief artist of the city of Kamyshin in the Volgograd region. In the suburban town of Noginsk organized a small ceramic workshop. The artist designed the lobby of the circus in Volgograd, a large mural-bas his work adorns the building of the Tver puppet theatre. The assets of Dmitry Mamonov -- mural painting the tasting room of the brewery in the Tver area of about 90 square meters on the topic of tricks of beer in Ancient Russia.

Dmitry Mamonov worked as chief designer at a ceramic factory in Peremenka, stood at the origins of Art school named Venetsianov (by the way, the idea is to give the school's name belongs to him), several years was a teacher there.

For fifteen years the artist worked on the Commission of aesthetic education at the Union of artists of the USSR under the leadership of the people's artist of Russia, academician of RAO (Russian Academy of education) Boris Nemensky participated in the development of the programme of aesthetic education for secondary schools.

In the 70-ies the artist executed the design of the restaurant "Volga" in the form of a ceramic high relief with the image of the Volga river, Mermaid Marine and a miracle. Later paintings of the artist covered with plywood and upholstered with fabric -- it is now called renovation. The wedding hall in Sochi, painted by the artist, now waiting the same fate. Obezyannike from the West leads to a featureless interior, negates the artistic value of the author's works, says Dmitry Mamonov.
