Sergeevich Nikolsky

Graduated from Saint-Petersburg state University of architecture and construction (1912), perfected in Italy. Taught at the civil engineering Institute (1927-32, from 1928 Professor), AH (1933-53). In 1925-32, head of the Leningrad group of the Society of modern architects (OSA). In 20-ies together with other architects carried out the design and construction of Tractor street (1925-27), Seraphim of area of Kirovsky district, according to his projects built school on Prospekt Stachek (1927) and street Polytechnic in the Forest (1930-32), round bath with a swimming pool in the square of Courage (1927-29, together with the architect A. V. by Krestinina), Ushakovskii baths etc. In 30-ies he worked in the field of design and construction of sports facilities: a Stadium named after S. M. Kirov in seaside Park of the Victory, stadiums metal and Red Putilovets. The author of a series of drawings made in the besieged Leningrad, and the album of drawings", the Park named after S. M. Kirov" (published in 1950). During the siege led an illustrated diary (partly published in the book Soviet architecture, issue 18). USSR state prize (1951). Buried at Literatorskie mostky.
