Graduated from Kharkiv arts College (1928-32) and Kharkiv art Institute (1932-37), where he studied with V. Ryftin, J. Sadilenko. Member of Association of revolutionary art of Ukraine in 1929, HO UAU from 1947. Participant of the Republican exhibitions since 1936. Solo exhibitions: Kharkiv — 1953. Worked as an art Director in the Kharkiv Russian drama theatre (1945-48).
