People's artist of Ukraine (from 1976). B. 3 Aug 1923 in Odessa. The participant of the great Patriotic war. Graduated from KhSAI (1945-51), where he studied with D. Ovcharenko, B. Kosarev. HO member of the CFS since 1960, the Ukrainian theatrical society (1965-89). Participant of exhibitions since 1951, Republican and all-Union h 1954. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1983, 1984, 1993, 1995; the village of Parkhomivka (Kharkiv region) — 1997. Worked as a teacher at KhSAI (1951-58), art Director (1955-68) and the main artist (1968-88) at the Kharkov state academic theater of Opera and ballet. N. In.Lysenko. Designed about 100 performances in the theatres of Ukraine.
