Biography and information

Born in the village of Garni, Armenia. In the early 1940's studied at Yerevan WHO, in 1945 – 1951 – Yerevan Institute of fine art from Martiros Saryan. In 1953 he moved to Moscow, on the recommendation of the teachers worked as a leading artist in the section of monumental painting at the HF USSR. In 1957, went to Birobidzhan (far East), taught in the local XY. In 1958 he settled in Makhachkala, worked as a teacher of painting, drawing and composition at the undergraduate Makhachkala HU im. M. Jemal. Since the early 1960s lived and worked in Odessa. In 1964 he became the founding Dean (1965 – 1968) art-graphic faculty of Odessa pedagogical Institute, where he worked for more than 20 years. His pupils were S. Lykov, V. Ryabchenko, A. Roitburd and V. the Results of other well-known artists. In 2001, held a memorial exhibition in Odessa HMM. The author of the monumental canvases, large themed series and graphic series. He painted portraits, landscapes and still lifes.
