He graduated from the Ivanovo chemical-technological coloristic College, textile Department (1942).
The participant of the great Patriotic war. Fought in the North-Western front, 1st and 2nd Baltic fronts. Awarded with the orders "Patriotic war of II degree", "Labor red banner", the medals "For courage", "For victory over Germany in world war II in 1941-1945", "For valiant labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin."
As a textile artist began to work at the enterprises of Ivanovo, joined the traditions of Russian art school. In 1962 invited to Barnaul on the opened Cotton Mill. Formed and led the artistic workshop of the plant, has trained several generations of artists, established in the Altai school of drawing for textiles. During the period, under the leadership of Gleb Alexandrovich, was developed around 2000 pictures for the sateen and chintz. Fabric patterns created by Malyshevym and his Studio artists, has been recognized not only in Russia but also at international competitions in Paris (1976), Brussels (1958), Leipzig (1977).
Among the students Belyshev talented artists I. Shchetinina, T. Dedova. Favorite motifs on textiles - roses, stylized national ornaments and patterns crafts. A lot of work as a watercolorist. Also says full-scale oil sketches.
