Born in Moscow in 1966

Studied electronic automation systems at the Moscow Aviation Institute, but a strong passion for painting in the early ' 90s led him to the teacher, MHPA (ex. Stroganov) A. Skvortsov.

Since 1992 participated in art exhibitions in Paris and Prague (gallery “rapid”, “On Zalatnai”).

Worked on the design of outdoor advertising and printing.

Since 1997 a participant of exhibitions in Moscow.

2000 - member of the corporate project with the International airport Sheremetyevo.

2001 - Central house of artists, exhibition “From classic to avant-garde.”

2001, 2002 - exhibition. Moscow Business centre at the hotel “Radisson - Slavic”.

2003, March, August “Exhibition of Moscow artists” CHA.

2004 March the exhibition “Moscow Business Bank”.

2004 April art-action “Heaven and Man”.

2004 October exhibition “75 anniversary of the Moscow region”.

Since 2004, A. Shalaev member of the MOOSKH International Art Fund.

The artist works with equal success in different genres, but the favorite theme is the urban landscape.

Recreating the look of old Moscow, Alexey Shalaev relies on knowledge of the history and architecture of the city, expressing a shrill feeling of the moment in its uniqueness.

The artist offers to see the world around us through his eyes and try to imagine his feelings.
