Born in 1955 in the town of Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Kemerovo region.
In 1980 he graduated from theatrical Department of Kemerovo Regional Art College.
From 1987 to 1990 he studied in all-Union State Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov, in the workshop of animation V. Kurchevsky.
From 1990 to 1994 he studied at the Moscow State Academic Institute named after V. I. Surikov, Studio of monumental painting under the guidance of E. N. Maximov. Member of the Union of artists of Russia.
