Biography and information

Painter, draftsman, watercolorist. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1964). Lives (1980) and works in Kiev. 23.08.1933 was born in Kursk, Russia. Study: 1949 (with a break for military service 1952-1956) - 1957 - Yelets art school (the graduate of the Kharkov art Institute) Andrei Ilich Kournakova, which the gold called its "godfather", former "boychukisty" (a pupil of Mikhail Lvovich Boichuk at the Kiev art Institute) Bertha of Arnoldovna Giller and Valentin A. Dudchenko.

An unusually sensitive and gifted from childhood (have literary talent, musical, feels the color and plastic form), having thorough training in the school, gold improved (1960-1962) under the direct leadership of people's artist of the USSR Nikolai Nikolayevich Zhukov in Moscow, living in his Studio. Growing up in a military family, moving many in the country, gold with youth, felt a special love for nature in Central Russia, to the life of a province. Previously developed as an artist-a romantic, establishing their acute-an individual dance style based on the expressive-expressive tonal painting mostly large-format paintings, featuring rich colour.

The favorite technique is oil painting, but watercolor and a master. Tends to the dramatisation of the images (especially narrative and portraiture), making complicated greenish-brown, or black-and-buff range of intense flashes"blow" bright green open-red or Golden tones, with exquisitely-nuanced color "orchestration", a flawless picture and dynamic composition, with the temperamental, confident letter says his work feeling accomplished at one go, gives extraordinary credibility of the images, regardless of whether they are written from nature, or created by the imagination of the artist.

It should be noted versatility of talent Golda-painter. Differing ability to feel and Express the main character and the character of the model man, creating theme songs (mostly dedicated to the life of the Jewish people, disappeared Patriarchal world Jewish province), full of deep feelings and philosophical sense, the artist has a delicate and lyrical sense of landscape, portraying this unique poetry and subtle beauty of the ancient towns, the inextricable link between man and the environment. Creating picturesque images, the artist organically and enthusiastically uses an inexhaustible Arsenal of expressive means of painting it, so it does not attract nor the experiments of postmodernism, or land art, or other currents of contemporary visual art. His view of the world and man is attentive and kind, hence the aura of the light of faith in the wisdom of life, in spite of its complexity, which makes it an associative-metaphorical composition, portrait images, landscape motifs and modern sound. The work of G. Golda, with distinctively national motifs, with the characteristic expressive-dynamic letter, became an integral part of modern art of Ukraine, enriching his color palette for its scenic and spiritual quests.
