(1909-3-27) Diploma thesis in the CVC - "Traktorostroiteli". The training took place at the faculty of painting, awarded the title of artist-painter.

(06.04.1909, Chita – 21.02.1977, Perm), painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1939). Born in a working class family (his father was a locomotive fireman, mother a homemaker). At school was fond of fine art. From 1923, he studied at the art Studio at the club. Red October, the artist I. P. Sverkunova, visited art Studio at the club railway workshops. He graduated from the Leningrad Academy of arts on specialty "painter of the mass of genre painting" (1932); he studied at the Department of easel painting at the A. A. Rylov, on a decorative branch from M. P. bobyshov the monumental Department at K. S. Petrov-Vodkin, at the Department of "mass of genre painting" in A. E. Karev and S. A. Chuikov. Diploma work – painting "the Production of the first tractor on the "Red Putilov"". In 1931-1933 he was a member of the youth Association of artists of revolutionary Russia (OMAHR). From 1932 he lived and worked in Perm. In 1932-1941 he is a lecturer in Perm. art school. Member of regional exhibitions since 1934, participated in the creation in the city of Perm city of the Union, and in 1939 – the regional branch of the Union of Soviet artists, a production and cooperative partnership "Artist". Together with the students of the school were engaged in festive decorations in the streets and squares of the city. As part of the creative teams of artists went to the construction of the Krasnokamsk bumkombinat, in the ancient settlements of Perm. region (p. Nyrob, Cherdyn, S. Panteg); the impressions from trips he made sketches, sketches, sketches. Wrote themed paintings ("Stalin and Dzerzhinsky on the Eastern front", "Young gliders"), landscapes of the Urals, portraits, still lifes. During the great Patriotic war (1941-1945) he worked in the propaganda poster workshop in Perm. The Union of artists, which was housed in the Perm. state art gallery (PGHG) (supervisors: B. Johansson, V. Odintsov). Worked to create sketches, posters (more than 20 sketches and stencils to them), which were published in massive numbers and were distributed throughout the area. Among the works of the artist: "Young patriot" (1941), "the Spirit of the great Lenin and his victorious banner", "For our Soviet Motherland!", "To accelerate the defeat of fascism, subscribe to the war loan" (1942), "Assistance to families of soldiers – the front line", "complete Faster delivery of bread" (1944), "Vengeance and death to the German cannibals", "we will also improve our city" (1945). Was also made sketches of posters "the Red Army is victorious!", "More metal, fellow metallurgists" which were then published in agitmaterial using the lithographic technique. During the war traveled to mines, factories, farms. Was written of the work: "the Assembly of aircraft engines" (1942), "the Feat of captain Gastello" (1943) (not preserved), portraits of "Stakhanovite". Worked in various techniques of the original graphic: was created the pencil drawings, ink; watercolors, pastels. Among the works of this period: "Women of war", "Evacuated", "Portrait of O. D. Korovin", "Kama", "Razgulay". In the second half. 1940s-1960s Rossick constantly visited the enterprises and construction sites, collective farms Perm. . there was a dynamic genre scenes on the theme of work and modern life: "the Rafters" (1946), "kolkhoz apiary", "Farmers visiting the beekeepers", "Came to the voters" (1948); historical paintings with the leaders of the revolution: "Sverdlov among the workers of Motovilikha" (1958), "Sverdlov in the underground press Perm" (1961). The artist turned to the portrait genre. PGHG in the collection are the works of different years: "Portrait of old Bolshevik I. V. Zenkova" (1950), and portraits of the architect N. Shvareva (1946), actress L. V. Mosolova (1950), the poet B. N. Mikhailov (1954), gardener L. pishchalnikova (1956), Professor E. Bogolyubov, artist Korovin O. D. (1975). In the portraits the artist avoided excessive pathos, any external effects, sought to convey the personality, the true significance of their characters. Throughout life Rossick was fascinated by watercolors. He created portraits, landscapes, still lifes. In the manner of the artist appealed to the traditions of classic watercolors. His works are characterized by lyricism, poetic, subtle, subtle color nuances. Behind external simplicity is always a depth of feeling, insight, imagery, craftsmanship. Among the works of the artist: "portrait of a woman" (1938), "Victor (Portrait of son), Tanya (daughter's Portrait)" (1942), "White night", "wild flowers" cycle "Yalta" (1948), "Winter" (1960), "Summer day", "First snow" (1963). The artist's works are stored in PGHG, Perm. the regional Museum of local lore.
