Vasilyevich Semyashkin

Schedule. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored art worker of the Karelian ASSR.

(1925, p. Krasnobor Izhemsky district, Komi ASSR – 1998, Petrozavodsk). Painter; landscape painter, designer, book artist. He studied at the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. Repin (1954-1956). The honored worker of arts of RK (1970). Member of the CX (1953).

Works: graphics (ed. "Karelia") – Bitter, "Grandfather Arkhip and Lenka" (1952); the series "the Rafters" (1963), "Fishermen" (1964); Karel "motive", "Spring" (1966), "Shal'skiy island", "Zaonezhye motive" (1969), "Evening lights" (1971), "Spring sun" (1977); illustrations of the collection and the individual publications of the Karelian folklore (ed. "Karelia", 1977-1985).

Exhibitions: all-Union (1950, 1951, 1952, 1957, 1962), Russian (1957, 1960, 1967, 1969, 1970), artists of Kazakhstan in Moscow (1951, 1959) and Leningrad (1972), autonomy (1971), North – 64-74, RK artists ' – with 1950, in East Germany (Neubrandenburg 1977, 1983, 1985), Finland (Varkaus – 1966, 1972, 1976, Kemi, Rovaniemi – 1969).
