Biography and information

Honored art worker of the BSSR. Was born in Dnepropetrovsk. Graduated from Vitebsk art TEKHNIKUM (1926-1930) and the Moscow Institute. Surikov (studied with G. Ryazhskaya, 1935-1946.). Participant in the partisan movement in Belarus during the great Patriotic war. In the art exhibitions he participated in, from 1927 he Taught at Minsk art school (1947-1954 gg.), the Belarusian state theatre and art Institute (1954 -, associate Professor, from 1971). In 1954-1956, the Chairman of the Union of artists of the BSSR. Worked in different genres of easel painting. Images of the brave defenders of the Motherland during the great Patriotic war embodied in the painting "meeting of the guerrillas with the Soviet Army" (1946), "For his native Belarus" (1946), watercolor portraits of members of the partisan movement in Belarus (1942-1944). Peaceful creative labor of the Soviet people – the subject of "Win at work" (1950), "Assembly shop of the Minsk tractor plant" (1963), "the Tractors are coming" (1967), portraits of the best workers of the Minsk tractor plant Kuncicky K. (1952), E. Smirnova (1959), V. Shishko (1963), L. E.
