From 1906 to 1909 he studied in Tartu from R. Muhlen and in the Studio of K. Raud. From 1910 to 1920 in St. Petersburg. In 1915 и1916 in the workshop of V. mate, 1918, studied painting with A. Rylov. In 1928 a fellow goes into a vein. Arnold vihvelin has participated in exhibitions in Estonia, Russia, Germany, Finland.
