Biography and information
A theater artist. Daughter Zinaida Serebryakova. Honored artist of the RSFSR.
He graduated from the Leningrad choreographic school (1930). Worked as an artist in painting fabrics, a painter of theatres in Leningrad, Minsk and in the Moscow art Theater. He painted landscapes and genre scenes. Popularized by the work of Z. E. Serebryakova (exhibition 1965, 1966, 1987).
He taught at the GITIS, the School of memory of 1905.
Children – the artist Ivan V. Nikolaev (b. 1940) and the chemist, Anatoly V. Nikolaev (1946-1984).
