Russia • born in 1956

Born in 1956 in Kazan. At the age of three, he began to draw, his talent was encouraged by their parents and the people around him. He has graduated from art school. After finishing secondary school I tried to enroll in the Kazan art school, but failed. Enrolled in a culinary school and graduated at the specialty "chef". Cook spent 32 years: "First, I really hated cooking, but then I got used to it." Served three years in the Navy. In the early 90-ies, when it was difficult with clothing and money, sewed clothes for the whole family pattern from the magazine "Peasant woman".

In 1979 my wife and I moved to Obninsk. For 25 years, attends art under the guidance of Nikolai Alexandrovich Yaroslavl, the House of culture of physics and energy Institute. Together with other artists regularly makes forays to the sketches (he calls them "grafting of spleen"). Trying different techniques and manners. Material for his paintings is the fabric on the cardboard or plywood, canvas, rough burlap, and even faux fur. The works of Matisse, Derain, Marc Chagall, Modigliani, van Gogh, the artist finds the expression of beauty in simplicity. For him "the main thing is to be able to interest the audience, to bring brightness and apparent simplicity." "I have a desire to draw as children, easy, simple, as if playfully. It turns out, however, not always. Unwittingly going into details, the complication of color" According to the artist, "a grown man is not capable of pure primitivism". Valery V. difficult to identify the boundary between an Amateur artist and a professional. The main thing for him – talent, desire to work, inspiration. Believes that creativity is only for the sake of money leads to a deadlock. Some paintings are in the municipal Museum of the city of Obninsk.
