He graduated from the St. Petersburg school of art in 1913-Studio of N. Roerich, I. Bilibin and A. Rylov. From 1926 to 1930 taught at "Pallas". In 1944 emigrated to Germany, then USA.
Exhibitions: Riga, Paris, Helsinki, Lübeck, Kiel, Cologne, Copenhagen, Rome, Warsaw, Budapest, New York.
