Alexey Tegin was born 17 April 1951 in Moscow. In 1962-1969, he studied at mshsh. In 1969 he entered MVHPU, the Department of monumental painting. His artistic career Alexey Tegin began in the late 70s — early 80s as an artist-photorealism. Over time, he became interested in other forms of contemporary art. In 1992, together with Svyatoslav Ponomarev, he created the theatre of the Tibetan music PurbaВ.
