Ershov Igor 19 Feb 1907. Kamyshin Saratov province - may 22, 1974. Moscow. Painter, graphic artist. He studied at the Saratov school in 1925-1930 years B. V. Milovidova, V. P. Kuznetsov, A. Sapozhnikov. Diploma in decorative workshop of P. S. Utkin. During his studies, designed the books in 1927 (the poem, AA Block "Twelve", etc.) the Participant of exhibitions since 1927. A member of the Saratov society of constructivists "Volgo-Lef" 1927-28., designed the magazines "Volga-Lef", OMAHR 1929-30 gg.. In 1930 he moved to Moscow. Member of USSR Union of artists since 1932. Since 1929 shall travel in Central Asia (Tajikistan). In the 1960-60s he worked in industrial graphics (posters, design, calendars, brochures, art exhibitions of the USSR, the brands), the Honored worker of arts Tadzhssr since 1968. Igor Alexandrovich Ershov was born in 1907 in a family of musician in the mountains. Kamyshin, Saratov region. In 1930 Igor finishes the Saratov art school. He recalls with gratitude I. Ershov his first teachers of P. S. Utkin, A. A. Saporita, B. V. Milovidova. Creative activity of the artist had already begun in 1927 to participate at the 5th anniversary exhibition of paintings of the Saratov
school of painting.
By the early 30-ies, is the first acquaintance of the artist with Central Asia. Large themed painting "the Birth of a son" painter participates in the first exhibition of Tajik literature and art in Moscow in 1941.
During the great Patriotic war I. A. Ershov working as a correspondent in the operating units of the Soviet Army. In the paintings of these years displayed the glorious path traversed by the heroic Soviet Army from Odessa to Kenigsberga.
In the post-war period, the artist takes an active part in all Republican and all-Union art exhibitions.
Creative activity I. Yershov closely linked with the work and the all-Union chamber of Commerce. Four solo exhibitions of the artist's works, organized them in Tajikistan are vivid evidence of the close ties of his work with the development of fine art.
The author is deeply concerned with the beauty of Tajik land, its ancient and unique culture, hard working, generous, talented people. All this the artist brings in their harmonious impressive canvases.
