Enrico Pollastrini (1817-1876) was an Italian painter. Born in Livorno, Italy. He was a pupil of Giuseppe and Pietro Bezzuoli Benvenuti. In 1867 Director of the Academy of fine arts in Florence, replacing his compatriot Thomas Gazzarrini. He was the first Professor of drawing at the Academy, where he worked until 1875. Among his students was Lugli Albano, Pietro Saltini, Torello, Ancilotti. Died in Florence in 1876. He is buried in the memorial chapel of the sanctuary of Montenero.
His most famous painting - "the Exiles of Siena" - died during the Second world war. Some of his works are in Livorno in the churches of saints Peter and Paul and Santa Maria del Soccorso.
