Description of the artwork «The beginning of June»

Half meter landscape best of Levitan's students Stanislav Zhukovsky. In addition to unconditional artistic merit, the picture has a remarkable provenance: in 1924 she participated in the legendary exhibition of Russian art in the United States, which was successfully held first in New York, and then another two years on tour in different cities of the country.
