Курашов

Aleh Kurashou (in other spelling Oleg Kurashov) - Belarussian art-manager and artist.

He was born in 1978 in Gomel (Belarus) in a family of artists. His mother, Sviatlana Kurashova always was an example of proffessionalism and good art taste. She trained son to enter the art collage, but he entered the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and graduated it with honours (2000), Since 2002 Aleh works in Art Gallery named after Belarussian national artist Gavriil Vaschenko as art-manager (head funds keeper). Communication with artists and professional activities in the field of visual arts inspired him to renew practical art studding. The strategy of academic art education was chosen.

Since 2005 Aleh Kurashou actively studied painting, drawing and composition in studio of Svetlana Kurashova . During this period, parallel to his professional activities and classes in painting, he raised the qualification in management in the sphere of culture in the framework of the project "Center of competence for managers in the field of culture (Moscow, Berlin, Munchen, Minsk, Gomel, 2010 - 2011), trained at the municipal exhibition hall "Lotringer 13 "(Munich, 2011), visited art-space "Basis" (Frankfurt am Main, 2017) and participated various international conferences and seminars (Moscow, 2010; Berlin, 2012; Minsk, 2014).

Participates exhibitions since 2014.
The works of the artist are in the collections of: Art Gallery by Gavriil Vaschenko (Gomel), Art Gallery "Tradition" named after German Pryanishnikov (Svetlogorsk), Art gallery "Color Way (Kalyarovy Shliakh)" (Orsha), Imago Mundi Fund (collection of Luciano Benetton), private collections (Belarus, Russia, USA, Germany, China).
