Isabel Rosthorn (Isabel Rawsthorne, July 10, 1912, London – 27 January 1992, Essex) is a British artist and stage designer. Was associated with the Paris and the London avant-garde circle of artists and sculptors.

Features the French artist Isabelle Rosthorn: working and interacting with many avant-garde artists of the twentieth century, Isabel Rosthorn remains largely figurative artist. But in the study of nature (human and animal) opens a new figurative. She pores over scientific treatises on animal psychology, anthropology, examines the x-rays of skeletons and new excavations. With existential persistence captures the presence of the living creatures in the world, its materiality and fragility.
Since 1947 Rosthorn working scenic artist and costume designer at the Royal Opera house in London. With unlimited access to rehearsal halls, Isabel begins to make sketches of the dancers. These drawings and oil paintings make up a large loop, part of which is now kept in the Gallery of the Royal Opera house.
