The hall of special projects of the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val presents an exhibition
“Natalia Turnova. Silent "dedicated to the work of a major contemporary Russian painter and sculptor.
Natalia Turnova was born in 1957. In 1983 she graduated from the faculty of industrial art of the Moscow Higher School of Industrial Art, in 1985 she became a member of the youth section of the Moscow Union of Artists, and in 1996 she entered the section of artists of monumental-decorative art (Monumentalists of Moscow) Moscow Art Institute.
The project "Silent" includes 14 paintings and 7 sculptural objects from industrial materials, previously unknown to the public, this is the result of the author's work over the past few years. The exhibition opens up new, unexpected facets of Natalia Turnova’s art.
