StolenSpace Gallery presents another Ben Ain solo exhibition
"It all starts somewhere". In this show, the artist takes the printing press to a new level, comparing three-dimensional works with his bold typographic paintings.
Ain is known for using words and phrases to create a sense of randomized poetry. His harsh, often witty and sometimes deeply touching statements make the viewer not only read, but also perceive combinations of letters, forms and positive / negative spaces, transforming them into something new and beautiful.
In January of this year, Ain compiled an image on seventeen and a half thousand square meters in an industrial space in east London. The word “CREATE” helped create a team of thirty volunteers and six artists. This is the largest mural today.
