ProArt Gallery presents a personal exhibition of paintings by Igor Yurchenko
"Breath of the Carpathians". The artist is attracted by the experience and history of events, he is looking for his way in the "mountains of modern art." He is worried about the color in space, the plasticity of forms and their expressiveness in various states.
Igor Yurchenko is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, a member of the Union of Critics and Art Historians and a PhD in Art History. A graduate of the Department of Industrial Design of the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts; during 1990 - 1991 he studied at the Higher School of Art and Design in Germany; Lecturer, Department of Design, Lviv State Forestry University; Associate Professor at the Department of Design and Fundamentals of NU Architecture. He is a participant in regional, All-Ukrainian, international plein-airs and exhibitions of painting and graphics, the author of solo exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
