Pazza Pennello. Bipolar revolution

Exhibition January 22 − March 30, 2019
In the gallery Houssein Jarouche is an exhibition of Ukrainian pop art artist Pazza Pennello “Bipolar revolution". The name of the exhibition comes from the book by Brazilian author Luis Fernandez, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution. The writer is concerned with the rise and fall of the Soviet Union and, moreover, discusses its dualistic character: conquest and oppression, strength and underdevelopment, rise and collapse. The artist's works are portraits of a temporary generation that accompanied the collapse of the world's greatest socialist power. The author for the first time presents two series of his works and videos in Brazil.

Pictures of the artist are known not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond its borders. She has numerous solo and group exhibitions, participation in international competitions. The works of the author adorn the private collections of connoisseurs of contemporary art from France, Switzerland and the USA. Turning to different topics, Pazza Pennello is experimenting, choosing different ways of expression - from illustrations with a marker, to video art and installations.
