Mr. Melancholy, walk through the city

Mr. - Japanese painter, sculptor and follower of the Otaku subculture, who uses manga and anime to depict his personal fantasies and feelings.
His inspiration Mr. draws from Tokyo city life. In his paintings there is an endless cacophony of words and images, a seductive fantasy of desire and fear, the space of street doodles and graffiti. Works by Mr. show us a city in which the sweet and the terrifying are as interchangeable and indefinable as medicine and poison.
The plots of the paintings reveal a clear duality of the inner and outer worlds of Mr. They reveal both superficial and psychological levels of the otaku subculture. Works by Mr. they depict a Manichaean battle in which he and every otaku are always enclosed: darkness behind every smile, invisible shadows that hide in every super-flat and super-clean surface.
