Sarah Kroner. Painting for the stage

Gallery Simon Lee presents the first solo exhibition in Asia, the New York artist Sarah Kroner "Painting for the stage". The exhibition includes a series of new paintings by the master. Creativity of the author is based on art, fashion, graphic design, theater and performance. Kroner creates dynamic works that resemble the geometric abstraction of the twentieth century. In her works, the artist revises the principles of geometry, proportions and articulation of space, which formed modernism at its birth.

Sarah Kroner was born in Philadelphia in 1974. Received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Hunter College. She graduated from university in New York, attended art school in Paris. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
