Matthew Weisberg. Is it time to write winter landscapes?

In the hall of the auction house "Dukat" an exhibition of the Kiev artist Matthew Weisberg “Is it time to write winter landscapes?”. The exhibition presents the work of different years, united by common idea. The author, through space and time, constructs his own figurative and artistic system of the beholder and playwright, where the most important are the invisible but tangible interrelations of the individual with the outside world.

“Window” landscapes Matthew Weisberg began to write for a long time, and, as the author himself notes, for him windows are a kind of portals, exits to another space, to other stories. Among other things, these are ready-made paintings in frames, which can only be transferred to the plane of the canvas. The window divides the space into “inside” and “outside” - this mystery worries the artist to this day.
