Matthew Wong. Day after night

Gallery Massimo de Carlo in Hong Kong presents "Day after night"- the first solo exhibition of Chinese artist Matthew Wong. The exhibition consists of eight large-scale canvases of imaginary landscapes. The author uses a synthesis of various traditions in painting, from Chinese carcasses to post-impressionism and symbolism. The landscapes in the paintings are painted with a sense of depression and humanity.

Matthew Wong was born in 1984 in Canada. He currently lives and works in Edmonton, Canada. He has a degree in cultural anthropology. The participant of numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
