«Art of the West»Demonstrates the dynamic and developing world of art, which originates from cultural practices from many nations that have shaped the American West. This exhibition is the first of its kind, which explores how shared values and interests inspired artists of different cultures and times to create distinctive, powerful works that reflect the West as a destination and home.
Organized around the themes Religion and Rituals, Earth and Landscape, Migration and Movement, the exhibition includes historical works by such masters as Thomas Moran and Frederick Remington, along with more modern works by George O'Keeffe, Virgil Ortiz, Luis Tapia , David Levintal and many others.
