Nikolai Grokh

Central House of Artists presents a solo exhibition of the national artist of Ukraine Nikolai Grokha. The exhibition includes exquisite still lifes and lyrical landscapes. The master builds his works according to the laws of beauty, sincerity and light flowing from within.

Nikolai Grokh was born in 1936 in Leningrad. In 1952 he moved to Kiev, graduated from the Kiev School of Applied Arts and the Kiev State Art Institute. He worked for a considerable time in book graphics. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He is the founder and director of the art studio of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
