A personal exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth is held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Tbilisi
Anna Shalikashvili. The exhibition presents oil paintings and graphic works, as well as a series of drawings for animation.
Anna Valerianovna Shalikashvili (1919-2004) - painter, graphic artist, theater artist and cartoon artist. Works are characterized by a clear pattern, a sharp composition, sometimes grotesque. She owns sketches for the productions of the animated films “Clay Pot with Ghee” (1966), “Singer of the Dawn” (1967), “The Flea and the Ant”, “The Brave Hare” (both of 1971), “Like a Mouse they buried a cat ”and others. In 1984 she was conferred the title of People's Artist of Georgia.
