From Woodstock to the Moon: Illustrated 1969

As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Norman Rockwell Museum, we look back at how illustrators depicted news events and reflected popular culture in 1969. Norman Rockwell's own work reflected changing times with his iconic image of the moon landing, the cover of the album he painted for rock musicians and a tribute to the latest release of The Saturday Evening Post.
