CEH "Manege" is intermuseum art exhibition
"Life after life".
The purpose of the exhibition is to show how the art of St. Petersburg artists reveals the theme of death and immortality in fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpture).
Among the exhibits are about 200 works created by artists such as Alexey Venetsianov, Karl Bryullov, Peter Klodt, Fyodor Bruni, Mark Antokolsky, Victor Borisov-Musatov, Mikhail Vrubel, Vasily Surikov, Victor Vasnetsov, Vasily from 1725 to 2018 between 1725 and 2018. The project became possible thanks to the close cooperation of more than 20 museums, including
State Hermitage Museum,
The State Russian Museum,
The State Tretyakov Gallery and other museums of St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of Russia. The exhibition also includes works from private collections.
