IV All-Ukrainian Triennial of Book Graphics
Exhibition April 26 − May 12, 2019
In the halls of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine will be held IV All-Ukrainian Triennial of Book Graphics. The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the book as a special object of culture, combining literature and visual arts.
Since the ancient times and the Middle Ages, the history of drawing has been connected with the manuscript book, and the development of the engraving and lithography was connected with the printed book. This complex branch of graphic art has its own laws of creative embodiment of the artist’s intentions, in particular, the use of various typefaces. Fonts will be devoted to a whole section of the exhibition.
