The Paul Art Museum in Hakone (Kanagawa Prefecture) hosts an exhibition
Impressionist, memory trip". The exhibition is composed of exhibits of two major collections of the Impressionists of Japan - the Paul Art Museum and the Hiroshima Art Museum.
The exhibition is dedicated to the landscapes of French impressionism: 74 works - from Delacroix and Corot to Picasso and Matisse. The main theme is the trips and memories of artists of the XIX century. The works reflect the views of painters, the impression of landscapes and changing light.
The artists represented are Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, Eugene Delacroix, Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and others.
