Oleg Golosiy. Guy and comet

The Naked Room Gallery in Kiev presents an exhibition of the works of the key figure of the Ukrainian “new wave” of the 80s-90s. Oleg Golosiy "Guy and comet". This is the beginning of a series of events dedicated to this author. The exhibition includes paintings of the artist, diaries, sketches, personal photos from the family collection on which the exhibition is based. The presentation of large software canvases will last four weeks. The central wall of the gallery will take on alternately works representing different periods, methods and subjects.

The work of Oleg Golosiy was an alternative to Soviet academism and became a new self-sufficient direction in painting, close to the postmodern world trends. The author participated in group exhibitions in Budapest, Warsaw, Kiev, Leipzig, Moscow, Munich, etc. private collections in the UK, Spain, Russia, USA, Ukraine, Finland, France, Sweden, etc.
